The Martinez Arts Association (MAA) presents the 53rd  annual Art in the Park on Sunday, August 18th, at Susana Park in Martinez, from 10 AM - 5 PM.
 
Over 60 artists are expected at this free event. Come and enjoy fine arts and crafts created by local artists, along with live music, food trucks and beverages including wine and beer. Also be sure to check out the Silent Auction with lots of items donated by artists and local businesses.
 
The live music line-up includes Acoustic EQ, Diablo Rhythm Wranglers, The UnConcord, Landbirds and the Tamsen Donner Band.
 
The park is shady and lots of seating will be available. Also there is plenty of free parking in the area. Parking meters do not run on Sundays.
 
Art in the Park is the MAA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Founded in 1968 as a nonprofit organization, the MAA organizes and participates in many community events throughout the year. Our goal is to encourage art culture and education for local youth. Fundraising proceeds provide scholarships to graduating seniors as well as art grants for elementary through high school teachers. ​
